Educator-Led Family Activities: Find Me, See Me
In “Find Me, See Me,” families explore the teeming world of wildlife that is often overlooked or so small it seems invisible. These activities include a PLUM LANDING animation and a related hands-on activity, both with extension ideas, providing about one hour of programming.
Start by having families watch Wild, Wild Life, a short video about shrinking down to the size of an ant in a city park. (Gather around a laptop or tablet, or arrange to view the video on a larger screen.) Then, head outdoors to search for tiny wildlife with the hands-on activity Fly It and Spy It. If time permits, wrap up your day by completing one or more of the “Explore Some More” activities.
