Everyone gets angry sometimes. That's just part of being human, whether you're a grownup or a child. But we have to learn what to do with the mad that we feel, and that's a long, hard process. It happens little by little. In fact, it's something we work on all through our lives.

In this set of resources, we will focus on how you can help children work on developing self-control, listening carefully and using strategies to calm down when they feel mad.

By using stories and videos showing familiar PBS KIDS characters working through their own mad feelings, you can provide strategies that children can build on as they grow and learn and develop the self-control needed to handle frustrating situations appropriately.
